Endowment for Long-term Sustainability & Operations of Summit Charter School

As a public, tuition-free charter school, Summit receives only 75% of what traditional public schools receive from the state and county, and 0% funding for their facilities and capital projects. Annually, Summit faces funding gap challenges, especially regarding their facilities, maintenance, and capital projects.

We have identified three distinct areas in Summit’s operations which embody the school's mission and strategic goals:

• Places (e.g. our facilities)
• People (e.g. our students, faculty, staff)
• Programs (e.g. our curriculum offerings and continual development)

Our Phase I goal towards supporting these three vital pillars is to raise $4.2M by the end of December 2027.

Summit Charter School is celebrating 30 years of education and your Endowment support will live in perpetuity to ensure Summit’s special spaces and places last for generations.
